Politically, the United States government is very closely related to the British Government (Ex. English Bill of Right vs. Billof Rights) because the British colonized the United States. In contrast, Latin Americas government is closely related to the government in Spain because Spain first colonized Latin America. Because of this Latin America was once a communist country like Spain but later became a democracy.

Socially, Latin America have many distinct parts of their culture. Their language is Spanish mainly because of the colonization of Spain in early years. Catholicism was strictly forced by the Spain, and is still strongly practiced in Latin America. In contrast, the United States as a majority speaks English because of the colonization of the British once again. Also because of the colonization of Spain, Latin America has many foods in common and so the same for the United States.

Economically, The United States government spends alot of money on education and services, in contrast because of the majority of farming in Latin America; the government spends money on goods for shipping and for farming of the goods. Latin America is also in the primary sector mainly because of the impact of faming Spain had when they colonized Latin Americam, and also because of the good land to farm and ranch on.
